A Day on the Beach - Tuesday 26 January 2010

Kingston Beach comes alive on Australia Day, 26 January, 2010 when over 8,000 people will head to the annual "A Day on the Beach" celebration.

This FREE community event, now in its third year, celebrates all things Aussie including;

The "Talk to Chemmart" sandcastle competition, a tug of war, Cricket Tasmania beach cricket, beach volleyball, gymnastics and soccer which all took the sand by storm, while ocean swimmers, kayaks, yachts and boats bobbed on the water.

- The beach

- Sport - both on and off water
